Here we have for sale a beautiful looking classic Vw Beetle in blue and white
We took this in part exchange ten years ago and have kept it dry stored ever since then
It’s time for it to go now and for someone to enjoy it and hopefully use it
When we took it in part exchange, the chap who owned it was a real enthusiast and was using it daily
It was in beautiful, pristine condition (not far off a show winner) It wouldn’t have taken much to get it there
This is a real head turner, runs absolutely sweet as a nut and is solid as a rock underneath
It had a disc brake conversion fitted a few months before we parked it up
The paintwork is still excellent apart from the odd minor blemish here and there and a little bit of bubbling as per a couple of the pics
We were told it had had a full bare metal respray in 2013
It’s been kept under a cover in the ten years it’s been garaged
You can run this as it is and not have to put a penny into it
If you want it in concourse condition again, then obviously you would have to spend
We have taken photographs of it after we removed the cover and it was covered in dust
We have taken videos of it running and will try answer any questions you might have
We are not Vw Beetle specialists and in all honesty, don’t know very much about them
It might have had engine modifications for example and other body modifications
We don’t know what is standard and what isn’t
It’s best to come and view and take a look for yourself
It has had electronic ignition added and a separate starter button using two batteries
Semaphore indicators
The wheels are in good order and look fantastic with the chrome moon caps
The tyres are all good, none have perished
It drives perfect, exactly as it should
I have driven it up and down the road, it changes gear perfectly with no snagging
The V5 is present and we have a few invoices for parts etc
There are a few brand new parts with it;
New chrome rear tail pipes
Chrome headlight protector grills
Chrome side mirrors
New door hinge bolts
Ideally it needs the chrome bumpers and headlight surrounds redoing
Or just use it as it is….entirely up to you
